IS LASIK SAFE?

Absolutely. LASIK is considered safer than wearing contact lenses. Our surgeons are the most highly qualified and experienced physicians in the world. With LASIK, experience matters.

HOW LONG DOES THE INITIAL CONSULTATION TAKE?

The initial free online consultation with our Visionary is about 20 minutes. The online consultation will answer all of your questions regarding the procedure, the process and cost and financing options available.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM A CANDIDATE FOR LASIK?

To find out if you are a candidate for LASIK you will need to come in for a no-charge comprehensive eye examination. The appointment is about 60 minutes long.

HOW MUCH DOES LASIK COST?

The national average for LASIK is typically $3,000 or more per eye depending on the doctor. LASiK Docs is a new kind of concept that believes in making LASIK affordable, providing clear, straightforward pricing. For a limited time, you can take $500 off per eye and get life-changing LASIK for only $1,999 per eye. We offer an easy financing process and over 90% of our patients qualify for financing. Our belief is to be upfront and transparent and not make you waste time haggling over price. Check out our competition, no one lists their actual prices. They typically start unbelievably low, but the truth is only a small percentage actually get that price. With LASiK Docs, there’s no guesswork, no surprises.

WILL MY INSURANCE COVER LASIK?

Insurance generally does not cover LASIK since it is considered an elective procedure. However, you can use your Health Savings or Flexible Spending Accounts to pay for your procedure.

IS THE PROCEDURE PAINFUL?

Most patients are relieved to find they don’t experience any pain and the process is quick and easy. Doctors provide drops to numb the eye, so most patients report LASIK as a painless experience.

HOW LONG BEFORE I CAN RETURN TO WORK/SCHOOL/OTHER ACTIVITIES?

Most patients resume normal activities within a day of having LASIK surgery. We do recommend not working the day of your surgery, however. Our advice is to take the day off and enjoy the rest of your day with a nice long nap.
